I recently did a personal evaluation of my career and people I have worked with and am working with and I realized that 80% of these people reached out to me; some from someone who gave them my contact and for some, randomly from the internet based on what people say about me. Mostly good, haha.

I really am not the usual guy that does Brand Design or design in general but I make sure to do my things a little differently. I get more concerned about the output of my work for my clients, talking with them about possible solutions we can work together to achieve for their brands. I am committed to doing excellent work regardless of the team or the client I am working with. Excellence has always and will always be the goal.

Three (3) things I have learnt about building a personal brand are:

1. It helps you differentiate yourself from the competition.

2. It gives you some credibility and people can trust you.

3. It opens you up to potential partners and networking opportunities.

Building a personal brand has a lot of advantages that we don't really talk about. Starting early even, can give a good headstart for career folks. You want to define your values, find ways to widen your network, and more importantly, learn to sell yourself.

Create a platform where people can see what you do. Don’t hesitate to promote your accomplishments as they give you credibility. People can’t connect with you if they don’t know where they find you.

Do not only tell it, show it.
